The first ripe tomato of summer is a family event in some houses, sliced warm on the cutting board with a little salt. The woman who grew it has earned this keychain. A round tomato sits at the top of the fob under its star-shaped calyx, pressed into red leather of nearly the same shade. Grows follows in brush script, and HER OWN sits beneath in engraved capitals.
Poppy red is the brightest leather we press, and it deepens slowly toward brick. The design is die-pressed into the front of full-grain leather as a blind deboss, with the back left plain. Each fob is made by hand to order, and gold foil is offered at checkout.
