Long Island 516 Keychain – Area Code Leather Gift

About this piece

Long Islanders say the name as one quick word, and they give the area code like a credential, 516 for Nassau and 631 for Suffolk. This keychain carries the Nassau claim. New York State is pressed into turquoise leather as one solid shape, and a small heart is bitten out of the southern shore of the Long Island tab. Long Island follows in brush script, and 516 sits below in wide engraved figures.

Turquoise is a bright blue-green with the Atlantic surf in it. Each fob is die-pressed on the front into full-grain leather and made by hand to order. Gold foil is offered at checkout, and shipping in the US is free.
