Ana Hoy × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies in leather.
An August study.
For Ana Hoy.
First, we wrote the shortest packing list a writer needs – A GOOD PEN and ONE MORE STORY, with both boxes checked before the trip begins.

We pressed it upright into a trio of luggage tags, blind on chestnut and deep forest green. The black tag carries it in gold.

Next, a skeleton key whose bow is a heart, over the words A KEEPER – the verdict every gift guide is really hunting for.

On deep wine sangria and warm caramel. Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

Then, fifty small squares with a single one filled in, above the words ONE OF FIFTY – you ranked fifty leather gifts, and this one knows exactly where it stands. We stamped it small in the corner of a caramel and dark espresso stack.

After that, a footnote asterisk over WORTH KEEPING – a tray where the day empties its pockets, holding whatever lands in it to the standard your deals guides hold a purchase to. Pressed generous on the golden tan tray.

And finally, the one we liked the most. A pen nib touching down on its first ruled line, above the words PAGE ONE – where every story you have ever filed began.

On journals in pale gray sand and dark espresso – the page and the ink. It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
