Bausch Health × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
A September study.
For Bausch Health.
For the warm-up, we put the Bausch Health logo on the luggage tags – the lockup is wide, so it runs the full length of the tag. The black tag carries it in gold. The pale sea-blue tag answers their bright blue, and the gray sand one the clean white ground the logo lives on.
Next, their careers page opens with three words: "All in together." So we assembled one large plus out of dozens of small ones – each mark its own size and place, and the sign of health appears only where they hold together.
Looks great when stamped onto the leather.
On the toiletry bag, navy over dark espresso, the stamp sits low in the corner.
And a catchall tray does exactly what the words say – everything in, together.
And finally, the journals. A journal fills one day at a time, so we wrote the cover as a small sum. Entry after entry, then the rule – and the total comes to a single plus. IT ALL ADDS UP is our framing; the plus is theirs.
One journal in black, where the deboss reads as a quiet shadow relief, and one in pale sea-blue.
We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
