CHIMERIX × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
A September study.
For CHIMERIX.
For the warm-up, we put the full CHIMERIX logo on upright luggage tags in pale sea-blue and deep wine, with a black version alongside.
Black carries the gold.

Next, we folded a ribbon into an arrow above CARRY IT FORWARD – our words for the work that colleagues carry onward, pressed onto keychains and toiletry bags.

Then, we left a ribbon circle open above TO BE CONTINUED and pressed it into the catchall tray – a place to pause when the day's keys come down.

And finally, we curled the ribbon into a question mark above THE NEXT QUESTION, in the lower right corner of the journals. The pages leave room to work on it.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
If you're CHIMERIX and you'd like these made real, or anything here changed – say hello through our contact page.
