CYNOSURE LUTRONIC × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
A September study.
For CYNOSURE LUTRONIC.
For the warm-up, we put the logo on the luggage tags – the long mark runs the full length of the tag, and that tall curving S finally has room to swing. The black tag carries it in gold.

First, we took "Beautiful Energy" at its word: a straight beam enters a prism, and what comes out the other side is a blossom.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather. On the black tag the beam presses in gold.

Next, the oldest meaning of the name. A cynosure is the North Star – the point every eye finds first. We drew the Little Dipper with Polaris burning at the tip of its tail, and set CYNOSURE beneath it.

On the black fob it goes in gold – a star against night.

And on the golden tan catchall tray it runs big – the one point everything returns to at the end of the day.

Then, the toiletry kit. Two houses became one in 2024, so we sent two small waves in from the left and let them meet – past the meeting point they travel on as a single taller wave, above the words ONE ENERGY. Pressed into the corner of both bags, warm mid-gray over deep brown.

And finally, the journals. We put a sunrise inside a hand mirror and wrote "Reveal Your Beautiful Truth" beneath it – a journal is where the truth gets written down before anyone sees it.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
