Koss Olinger × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
A September study.
For Koss Olinger.
First, for the warm-up, we put the Koss Olinger mark on the toiletry bags.

Next, we took the homepage at its word. "You Never Settled. Don't Start Now." – so we drew the homestead, and the road that goes straight past it.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather. The true black tag carries it in gold foil, the way the wordmark sits on their own dark ground.

Keychains with the road look just as good – gold on the black fob, pressed blind into the deep green.

And finally, the one we liked the most. A tree that took root in 1969 carries its years as rings – and three of the rings run heavier, one for each generation of advisors.

It looks genuinely beautiful on the journals, in warm tan and in deep green.

Then the catchall tray, where the rings hold whatever the day set down.

And the toiletry bags again, the rings pressed blind into deep brown over chestnut.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
If you're Koss Olinger and you'd like these made real, or anything here changed – say hello through our contact page.
