Money Concepts × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
An August study.
For Money Concepts.
For the warm-up, we pressed the Money Concepts lockup onto the luggage tags, lengthwise – the four wireframe globes and the wordmark, just as the mark stands. Navy and pale sea-blue take a blind deboss. The black tag carries the gold.

Next, we drew a heart with the same pen that drew their globes – meridians and parallels bent into the shape – and ringed it with their own words: COMMITTED BENEVOLENT INTEREST, SINCE 1979.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather. The black fob carries the gold.

The same seal rides the lower corner of the toiletry bags – navy over deep espresso brown, pressed blind.

Then, the catchall tray. Compounding, drawn honestly, is a tree in cross-section – a ring for every year since the seed went in. We counted them back to the founding and pressed PLANTED 1979 beneath the rings, on golden tan leather.

And finally, the journals. We stacked the five words of the HEART statement so their first letters spell it down the margin, and set the stamp in the lower corner of the cover, where a plan begins – navy and warm caramel tan. It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
