PROLLENIUM × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

A September study.

For PROLLENIUM.

First, for the warm-up, we put the PROLLENIUM wordmark on the luggage tags, running lengthwise the way a mark that wide wants to lie. Deep green for the living green of their O; pale warm greige for the clean light of their pages. The black tag carries the wordmark in gold.

Next, we borrowed the O – the ring with its two orbiting arcs – and set PACE at its center, for Prollenium Advanced Clinical Education. The school travels in the brand's own orbit.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather. On the black fob the orbit goes down in gold.

The same orbit rides the corner of a black dopp kit – the bag that goes along to the symposium.

Then, the mission line. We bent “Reshaping the Aesthetic Experience” into a ring around the orbital O and pressed it, at generous size, into the base of a golden tan catchall tray – where the day's small things come to rest.

And finally, the one we liked the most. The same curve drawn five times, each pass steadier than the last, EVER FINER beneath – because the hands this company teaches learn exactly that way. A journal is where the practice keeps its notes.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
