Hand-Picked – a leather gift collection about saving someone the best one

Hand-Picked is a small collection about the oldest gesture in giving – looking over the whole harvest and setting the best one aside for someone in particular. Four stamps, four people on the list.
First, we drew the act of choosing – a packing tray of pears seen from above, one pocket standing empty. The missing one floats above the rest: WE SAVED YOU THE BEST ONE. It is the sentence every good gift is trying to say.
Looks great when stamped onto the leather. We pressed it upright on luggage tags in deep green and in deep wine. The black tag carries the gold.
The same design sits at generous size in the golden tan catchall tray – the dish where someone's pockets land every evening.
Next, the anniversary stamp – two pears leaning shoulder to shoulder, stems crossed: STILL A GOOD PAIR. One keychain in deep wine and one in warm tan, so the two of them can split the set.
Then we filled a basket past the brim and wrote NEVER EMPTY HANDED over the handle – for the guest who always arrives with something. It sits in the corner of the toiletry bags, honeyed russet over chestnut, the kit that travels to other people's houses.
And finally, a sprig of pear blossom over WRITE SOON – the journal you press into the hands of someone leaving home. A blossom is the orchard's promise of fruit later; the words ask for the same in ink. One journal in navy, one in pale warm greige – ink and paper.
