The Keeping Room – a leather stamping collection. Shops Waterfall, Volume I-B.

A September study.

The Keeping Room is a small collection about the habit of saving things – the photograph mounted in the album, the story told again at the table. We pressed its three designs into leather goods for the desk and for the road.

First, the corners. Four album mounts hold an empty frame, and inside it sits the phrase WORTH KEEPING – whatever gets written in the journal becomes the photograph.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather – once on chestnut, once on pale warm greige.

The same corners went into the base of the golden tan catchall tray, so everything dropped there lands inside the frame.

Next, the window. We drew a whole house in a single steady line and filled just one window solid, with LEAVE THE LIGHT ON beneath – the promise every traveler packs first.

The black luggage tag carries it in gold foil, so the window actually glows. The warm tan and deep green tags take it as a blind deboss.

The same window rides low in the corner of the toiletry bags. It looks genuinely beautiful.

And finally, the checkers. Two discs stacked and crowned, with YOUR MOVE underneath – the oldest invitation a country store ever made.

The keychains came out just awesome – one in black and one in warm red, the two sides of the board.
