One of Each – a Leatherius Woodman leather collection from the candy counter
From the Practice Log – Volume I-C, an original leather collection study.
A September study.
One of Each – a small collection about the candy counter, where the long bins wait and a handful must be chosen. We pressed that ritual into leather, where it keeps.
First, the collection's namesake. Five candies stand in a row, each a different shape, above the words ONE OF EACH – the counter's oldest answer to too many good options.

The row runs lengthwise along the luggage tags, first in bubblegum fuchsia and pale sea-blue. A warm red closes the set.

The same row marches across the golden tan catchall tray, where pocket change and the day's small findings land.

Next, a gumball machine beneath the words ONE MORE TURN. A key earns its living by turning too – the crank and the keychain agree on the physics.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather – in a warm red the machine would choose for itself, and in pale sea-blue.

Then, for the toiletry bags, one wrapped sweet inside its own little panel, marked EMERGENCY SWEET. Every seasoned travel bag carries one somewhere; ours simply admits it. We pressed it blind into the lower corner of the warm tan and chestnut stack.

And finally, the one we liked the most. A twist wrapper smoothed flat, the way the best ones were kept, above the words SAVED THE WRAPPER. A journal does the same work – it holds the sweet part of a day after the day is gone.

It looks genuinely beautiful, on pale rose and on deep pine green.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
