The Sky Over Roswell – a leather collection of Roswell desert skies and UFO lore

A September study.
The Sky Over Roswell – a small collection for Roswell, New Mexico, where the desert floor is flat and honest and the sky overhead has never quite settled the question. We pressed the whole argument into leather.
First, we set the legend on one long horizon – a saucer caught mid-visit over the Mescalero dune line, with ROSWELL 1947 across the sky. Underneath, the one word the record actually supports: ALLEGEDLY.
It runs lengthwise on the luggage tags, in golden dune tan and in night navy.
The black tag carries the gold.
Next, we put a key in the beam for the keychains – TAKE ME TO YOUR CAR.
Looks great when stamped onto the leather.
On the black fob, the beam turns gold.
Then a quieter one for the toiletry bags – a low dune under a scatter of stars, and one of the stars is wrong. KEEP LOOKING UP.
It sits in the corner of the navy and dark espresso stack.
Then the catchall tray, which finally explains itself – a saucer parked overhead, the beam doing what beams do. EMPTY YOUR POCKETS, and whatever the day collected lands exactly where the beam points.
And finally, the one we liked the most. Goddard flew real rockets over this ground for twelve years before the saucer ever showed up, so we drew his rocket and the saucer side by side, the same height – ONE OF THESE IS TRUE. A journal is where you work out which story you are in.
It looks genuinely beautiful – in warm workshop gray and in night navy.
