Three Lakes, One Table – a Branson, Missouri leather collection

A September study.

Three Lakes, One Table is a leather collection rooted in Branson, Missouri, where three genuinely different waters share one Ozark table – Table Rock and Bull Shoals for the bass, cold Taneycomo for the trout. Five stamps, one for each thing a lake person actually carries.

First, the tags. Table Rock spills through its dam into Taneycomo, and Taneycomo runs on down to Bull Shoals – three names, one water. So we threaded all three lakes onto a single line, set a dam tick where each one lets go, and wrote the local truth underneath: ALL ONE RIVER.

It runs lengthwise on three leathers. Deep navy and pale sea-blue carry the water; forest green carries the shore.

Next, the trout. Taneycomo turned cold when the dam went in upstream, and the trout arrived with the cold – so the keychain carries one mid-leap over the two words that explain everything: COLD WATER.

We pressed it on navy and on warm caramel. Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

Then the dopp kit, the bag that actually makes the trip. A bobber rides the waterline with the line gone slack, and beneath it, GONE TO THE LAKE – the Ozark out-of-office. We stamped it blind in the lower corner of a navy bag over Sicilian brown, deep water over warm earth.

After that, the table. Table Rock holds nearly 800 miles of shoreline, and a catchall tray is where the day's pockets finally come ashore. We let the lake's whole many-armed shape sprawl across the golden tan base, TABLE ROCK beneath it.

And finally, the one we liked the most. Every fish story eventually gets written down, so the journal carries a bare hook and THE ONES THAT GOT AWAY – the only catch that grows year after year. We pressed it blind on deep forest green and on warm caramel.

It looks genuinely beautiful.
