Foster Fail Leather Keychain – Gift for Rescue Dog Adopters
About this piece
The plan was two weeks of fostering, maybe three. Then the dog curled up on the rug and the paperwork changed. In rescue circles a foster fail is a proud badge, earned by the carer who adopts the dog in their care. A mutt lies curled asleep at the top of this fob. Foster runs in brush script, with FAIL in engraved capitals as the happy verdict.
Caramel is a warm brown that softens with use. The design is pressed into full-grain leather, and each keychain is made by hand to order and shipped free in the US.
