Spots Came Later Leather Keychain – Dalmatian Owner Gift
About this piece
Dalmatian puppies arrive pure white, and the spots start showing after about two weeks, filling in over the months that follow. Anyone who has raised a litter remembers watching them appear. Spots is written in brush script under the spotted silhouette, and CAME LATER follows in engraved capitals, pressed into poppy red leather, a firehouse red for the old fire-engine dog.
The metal die sinks the design into full-grain hide, where it ages with the leather. Poppy red mellows and softens as it is carried. Each piece is finished by hand after purchase. Gold foil is a checkout extra, and US delivery costs nothing.
