Benesch Law × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.

An August study.

For Benesch Law.

The Benesch wordmark is a long, level line of type with its orange device leaning forward out front, so it runs the whole length of the tag – navy leather to match the word, golden tan to match the device. The black tag carries the mark in gold.

“SO ORDERED” is how a ruling that went your way ends – two words above the judge's hand, and the argument is over. On the catchall tray the phrase keeps both of its meanings: the day's pocket clutter lands, and order is restored.
