CASP Leadership Summit 2026 × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

CASP Leadership Summit 2026 is a room held deliberately small. The Council of Autism Service Providers admits only the first 200 registrants, and on September 9–10 that cohort travels to The US Grant on Broadway in San Diego for two days of leadership work aimed at the next generation of autism-service leaders. The agenda keeps pairing an expert talk with a table discussion, which turns an audience into a working room. The hosts set out two lunches and a September 9 reception, and the event page even carries an Event Ally Program for attendees who might feel uneasy walking into a conference alone. That last detail stayed with us.
The mark helped decide the rest. The event lockup sets blue capitals on a warm orange field, and the organization's own roundel notes a tenth anniversary this year. Blue against orange is a contrast that survives the loss of color entirely, which is the first thing we test when a mark meets leather.

The lockup runs lengthwise across a pair of leathers, a deep blueberry that holds the CASP navy and an indian-summer russet that keeps the warmth of the orange field. The third tag is black, and there the stamp goes down in gold.
A round table under the gaslamp
For the companion we drew two discussion chairs and a round table gathered beneath a historic gaslamp, with SAN DIEGO 2026 set below. The US Grant has stood on Broadway since 1910, a short walk from the Gaslamp Quarter, and the round table is where this particular summit does its thinking. We tried the lamp alone first and it read as any postcard of the city; the chairs and the table tie it to this one room.
