Chloe Dominik × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

An August study.

For Chloe Dominik.

First, we took the line your leather gifts guide keeps returning to and cut it as a die: a steamer suitcase thick with travel labels, above the words THE TEST OF TIME. We left every label blank on purpose – the case has plainly passed the test, and where it goes next is yours to fill in.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather – the trio wears the quiet neutrals of your own pages.

Next, the catchall tray. Your guide called the charging tray a home for keys and everyday essentials, and your organization writing has a name for that place. So we drew a key caught mid-fall, a breath above THE DROP ZONE, and pressed it into the golden tan tray where the keys actually land.

Then the toiletry bags. We built a small cabinet of a stamp, each everyday object in its own drawn compartment, under the organizer's creed – A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING. It sits low in the corner of a caramel-over-chestnut stack and keeps out of the way, as a good system should.

The keychains carry a single word. BRUMMIE, arched over a maple leaf – the word says where you're from, the leaf says where the keys now live.

They look just awesome on the deep green and caramel fobs.

And finally, the one we liked the most. We drew an iris with a pencil for a stem, sharpening into its own point above the words DRAWN FROM LIFE. You've written that your next step is a return to art – a journal ought to be ready before the drawings are.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
