Fortune Brands Innovations × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
An August study.
For Fortune Brands Innovations.
For the warm-up, we put the Fortune Brands Innovations logo on the luggage tags. The black tag carries it in gold foil.

Next, the promise in one word. Fortune Brands Innovations turns spaces into havens, so we set HAVEN in plain capitals and let the middle letter do what an A was always shaped to do – stand up as a little house, chimney and doorway included.

It looks genuinely beautiful. On the black tag, the house takes the gold.

The same die travels to the catchall tray and the toiletry bags.

Then, one for the keychains. Through a keyhole, a small house – SAFE INSIDE. The fob that holds the house keys gets to say what the keys are for.

Keychains with the keyhole stamp look just awesome – gold on the black fob, blind deboss on navy blueberry.

And finally, the journals, with words borrowed straight from the Blueprint Behaviors. We drew a modest house and gave it a dimension line that runs far past its walls; where the measurement should be written, it reads THINK BIG. Every plan is a page first – these open in navy blueberry and pale gray sand.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
