House of Tuscany × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

An August study.

For House of Tuscany of Fort Worth.

First, we designed a little logo for you. It turned out amazing. The roof is a pleated lampshade with a single flame burning under it – a house made of light.

On the luggage tags, the black one carries the gold. Golden tan and pale greige stand beside it in blind deboss.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

Next, for the sake of completeness, the name exactly as the listings carry it – set plain and pressed into the toiletry kits, golden tan over deep espresso brown.

Then a chamberstick with its flame still up and AN OLD FLAME arched over it – the kind worth carrying in a pocket, so it went on the keychains. Black carries the gold; warm tan takes the blind press.

After that, the restorer's brag. Six arms on the chandelier and one of them is a new replacement – FIND THE NEW ARM. Good luck. It presses at generous size into the golden tan tray where the day's small brass lands.

And finally, the idea bulb, promoted to a chandelier. BRIGHT IDEAS ONLY in the corner of the journals, in deep espresso brown and pale greige.

Looks absolutely gorgeous when stamped onto the leather.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
