Three brand-art luggage-tag studies for Josefina Bailleres

An August study.
Familiar objects, held with very little structure
Josefina Bailleres is a founder-led fine- and high-jewelry house working with one-of-a-kind commissions, milestone pieces, and a Revive program for heirloom stones and jewelry. Its public language returns often to tailoring, movement, orbit, dancing stones, and a close conversation between maker and client.
The current presentation is quiet and exacting: a fine, widely spaced serif wordmark floats over restrained fashion photography, often with one vivid jewel doing the visual work. The jewelry itself supplies a second grammar of sparse prongs, suspended centers, paired stones, open arcs, and elements deliberately placed off orbit. These studies take three of those construction habits and let each become a household object before it becomes an insider reference.
As leather luggage tags, the designs could accompany a commission delivery, collection launch, studio milestone, atelier or supplier thank-you, gallery collaboration, or private-client journey. They avoid copying a ring, gemstone silhouette, collection name, or luxury-house seal, so the result remains personal rather than promotional.
Leather and treatment
Charcoal, warm taupe, and deep jewel-green leather repeat one motif within each family. Blind impressions keep the first two tags nearly tonal; a restrained antique-gold line on the third catches light with the economy of a small setting.
The three concepts
1. The Dancing Swing
An empty plank swing hangs slightly off center beneath one broad curved branch. The suspension and gentle tilt come from the house's dancing, off-orbit setting logic, translated into an ordinary motion anyone can recognize.
2. Hat on the Rail
One wide-brim hat hangs from the second of four evenly spaced pegs. The rail borrows the wordmark's long baseline, the pegs borrow its measured spacing, and the single round focal point carries the house's preference for one center held by very little.
3. The Prong Lamp
A small desk lamp ends not in a shade but in four broad supports holding one plain round bulb. It turns the mechanics of a sparse stone setting into a useful studio object without drawing a ring or gemstone.
