MarinHealth × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

MarinHealth explains its mark as a gateway to advanced care in a healing environment, the arch remembering Mount Tamalpais. We pressed it faithfully along the length of the luggage tags, forest green and navy carrying the two strokes in blind deboss. The black tag takes the mark in gold.
Their own word for the mark is a gateway, so we drew the gateway itself: an arch opening onto the Tamalpais ridge, a footpath running through, CLOSER THAN YOU THINK standing beneath in plain capitals. It presses small in the corner of the toiletry kits, navy stacked over deep espresso brown, and at full size across the golden tan tray – where the keys land once closer finally means home.
Mount Tamalpais is the landmark the whole county steers home by, and their M keeps it in the arch. The keychain roundel carries the ridge whole, with MARIN set beneath – pressed on pale sea-blue and forest green, the two weathers of the mark.
The newest building on their campus is the Oak Pavilion, so the journals take an oak, drawn whole – roots as wide as the crown, the way a place grows when it has held its ground since 1952. It presses generously in the corner of the cover, on forest green and warm caramel.
