Three luggage-tag studies for O'Harra Mellette

An August study.
A room assembled from familiar things
O'Harra Mellette is a Florence, South Carolina interiors and home-decor studio working across residential and commercial design, construction consulting, renovation, kitchens, and baths. Its published approach brings clean lines, found objects, antiques, fabrics, art, and nature-led palettes into comfortable rooms.
The current identity is spare: a thin circle encloses two inward diagonals meeting below center, followed by a widely tracked serif wordmark. The same emblem appears more boldly elsewhere on the site. These studies turn that small visual vocabulary into things that could already live in one of the studio's rooms.
The leather tags could mark a project reveal, home handoff, design-market trip, client or referral thank-you, vendor recognition, showroom occasion, or studio anniversary. Each picture stays useful and giftable rather than behaving like a decorator logo applied to merchandise.
Leather and treatment
Mushroom taupe, natural cognac, and deep forest leather repeat one design within each family. Blind impressions and restrained antique-brass lines suit the studio's classic-modern balance and warm material palette.
The three concepts
1. Pull Up a Chair
A broad fabric sling settles into a crossed tubular frame. Its upper edge keeps the emblem's two inward diagonals and low center, but the added seat and four feet make the first read unmistakably a chair.
2. Mirror on the Wall
A round mirror hangs from one nail by two taut cords. The official circle becomes a domestic object, while the meeting diagonals reappear above it as the simple practical geometry that holds it up.
3. The Collected Shelf
A pitcher, two books, a bowl, and a candlestick occupy one shelf with measured breathing room. Their spacing translates the wordmark's wide tracking into the studio act of choosing and placing found objects.
