SAK Management Consulting × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

An August study.

For SAK Management Consulting.

First, we designed a little logo for you. It turned out amazing. Management consulting has a native drawing – the box-and-line diagram – so we wrote the name in that hand: each initial in its own thin-lined box, the boxes chained in a row, with MANAGEMENT CONSULTING set small beneath.

Here it is on the luggage tags. Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

The black tag carries the gold.

For the sake of completeness, the name as it stands today – plain capitals, nothing else. We pressed it as found, on quiet neutrals.

Next, the new mark went to the corner of the toiletry bags – blind-debossed on a black bag over deep brown, where it reads as a quiet shadow in the grain.

Then we drew the deed itself, in one unbroken line: it arrives tangled and leaves straight. IN GOOD ORDER stands beneath.

On the keychains, a warm tan fob wears it blind. The black fob runs the line in gold.

The golden tan catchall tray takes the same stamp – the tray being where pockets are put in good order at the end of a day.

And finally, the journals. AGENDA, a rule, and item one left blank – the first line belongs to whoever opens the cover. Deep wine and pale greige, blind-debossed.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
