Studio M Hospitality × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.
An August study.
For Studio M Hospitality.
The wordmark reads white over dark rooms across their site; here it runs the length of each tag, pressed into a pale greige and a warm mid-gray drawn from their own photography. The black tag carries it in gold foil.

Every material in a hotel wears a finish-plan callout before it ever becomes a room. LTH 01 tags the leather it is pressed into – generous on the key fobs, maker's-mark small in the corner of the black and dark espresso kits. The black fob carries the callout in gold foil.

Hospitality, stripped to its first move, is a room made ready before anyone arrives – the door ajar, the light already on. THE ROOM IS READY holds the center of the golden tan tray and signs the corner of two journals, one black and one pale greige, where the next project's story gets written.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
