Three luggage-tag studies for Sylvester

Ordinary signals of resonance, movement, and outreach
Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is part of the University of Miami Health System. Its public routes bring care, research, education, clinical trials, and community engagement into one place, while current university communication describes community-based work built with stakeholders across Florida.
The official visual system begins with two strong uprights separated by a clear central channel, then repeats four equal service circles, rounded architectural openings, deep green bands, and one orange emphasis within a larger field. These studies do not reproduce the UHealth mark, center name, university wording, medical symbols, ranking badges, cancer ribbons, treatment imagery, or clinical claims. The underlying construction instead becomes a ringing tuning fork, a caterpillar built from equal round segments, and a curbside mailbox with its flag raised.
As leather luggage tags, the concepts could be considered for approved research conferences, community-engagement teams, training cohorts, program milestones, collaborators, or volunteer recognition. Any real use would remain subject to healthcare, privacy, research-ethics, anti-kickback, procurement, employee-equity, gift, and mark rules.
Leather and treatment
Deep medical green, warm tan, and charcoal leather keep the set calm and grounded. Blind impressions are the natural default; one restrained antique-brass line adds warmth to the darkest tag without creating a seal, credential, or clinical badge.
The three concepts
1. The Tuning Fork
A broad two-tined tuning fork rings with one pair of simple resonance marks. Its open center and joined base inherit the split-upright construction while making the first read about listening and being heard.
2. The Garden Caterpillar
A friendly caterpillar moves along one ground line on five equal circular segments. Repeated service circles become a small living progression, warm enough for community work and far from a medical diagram.
3. Flag-Up Mailbox
A plain curbside mailbox stands with its flag raised. One strong accent on a larger quiet field becomes the everyday signal that something is ready to be sent, received, or answered.
These are independent design studies for appropriate team, partner, collaborator, adviser, vendor, volunteer, or client occasions. No affiliation, approval, or endorsement is implied. Every image is a render used to test the object before cutting a physical die.
