Papillon is French for butterfly, and one look at the ears explains it. They stand wide and fringed like open wings, nearly as long as the head, on a dainty fine-boned dog with a plumed tail arched over its back. We pressed it into caramel leather with THE PAP in engraved capitals underneath.
We make each keychain by hand after the order comes in. A metal die sinks the design into full-grain hide, and caramel mellows toward a burnished brown. Gold foil is available at checkout, and free shipping covers the US.
