Blue Skies Tailwinds Pilot Keychain – Leather Aviation Gift

About this piece

Blue skies and tailwinds is the good wish pilots trade at the end of a phone call or a hangar visit. It asks for fair weather and a push from behind on the way home. A two-blade propeller stands upright at the top of this fob, with Blue skies in brush script below it and TAILWINDS in engraved capitals.

Turquoise is a bright sky blue, the color of the thing itself on a clear morning. A metal die presses the design into full-grain leather, and each fob is made by hand to order for a pilot friend or a student working toward a certificate. Gold foil is offered at checkout, and US shipping is free.
