Praying for Rain Leather Keychain – Wheat Sheaf Farmer Gift

About this piece

In a dry July the farm talk turns to the sky, and every forecast gets read twice. A wheat sheaf stands tied at the middle, pressed into country gray leather the shade of a cloud that might yet break. Praying sits under it in brush script, and FOR RAIN follows in engraved capitals.

Country gray is a soft stone gray that shows a blind deboss in quiet relief. A metal die presses the design into the front of a full-grain fob, and every piece is made by hand once you order. Farm wives often buy it for farm husbands in a hard summer. Gold foil is available at checkout, and shipping to any US address is free.
