Leonberger Gifts
The Leonberger takes its name from the town of Leonberg in southern Germany, where Heinrich Essig is said to have bred the giant dog in the 1840s to echo the lion on the town crest. Owners prize its gentle temperament and plan their floors around the shedding of that full mane.
Our keychains carry the Leo's maned, heavy-boned profile, die-pressed into full-grain leather by hand, with your dog's name pressed into the front beneath the figure. Any of 17 leathers can be requested.
