Still Home Colorado Leather Keychain – Colorado State Gift
About this piece
Colorado is close to a rectangle, its borders drawn by surveyors along lines of latitude and longitude, and the people who leave it tend to keep calling it home. Here the state is pressed into forest green leather as one solid block, with a small heart left standing at Denver. Still home follows in brush script, over COLORADO in engraved capitals.
Forest green carries the color of the pine slopes above the Front Range. A metal die presses the design into the front of the full-grain fob as a blind deboss, and each keychain is made by hand to order. The hide darkens gently with years of carry. Gold foil is offered at checkout, with free shipping across the US.
