Mustered Out Keychain – Personalized Military Retirement Gift
About this piece
Mustered out is the old phrase Civil War regiments used when they were released from service, and it still lands well at a retirement ceremony. Dog tags stand at the top of this gray sand fob. Mustered out follows in brush script, with the month and year in engraved capitals. JUNE 2026 is our sample, and the date you enter takes its place.
Gray sand is a soft stone gray. A metal die presses the design into full-grain leather, and each keychain is made by hand after you order. Long month names need a short form, so SEPT 2026 fits where SEPTEMBER would run long. Gold foil is offered at checkout, with free US shipping.
