Calving Season Keychain – Steer Leather Gift for Cattle Ranchers
About this piece
From January into spring, a cow-calf family sleeps in shifts and checks the heifers at two in the morning with a flashlight in hand. This dark espresso fob names the season. A beef steer stands in side profile above Calving in brush script, with SEASON in engraved capitals beneath.
It makes a Christmas gift from the spouse who knows what is coming six weeks later. Dark espresso gives the steer a deep, quiet outline. The design is pressed with a metal die into full-grain leather, and each keychain is made by hand to order. Gold foil is offered at checkout, and US shipping is free.
