The Care Package – a leather collection of parcel-room promises
The Care Package – an original leather collection. Shops Volume I-B.
A September study.
Every parcel room keeps a small tender vocabulary, stenciled on boxes and signed at the end of letters. We took those phrases at their word and pressed them into leather, where a shipping warning becomes a promise you can hold.
First, we redrew the oldest stencil in the freight room so the fragile thing inside is a heart. HANDLE stands above, WITH CARE below, and four plain corner marks hold the label together – a warning kept as a vow.

It stands upright on the luggage tags. Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

The same heart rides low in the corner of the toiletry bags, navy over chestnut.

Next, we gave a key a heart for a bow and set FOR KEEPS beneath it. A key is the one gift nobody leaves in a drawer, and this one says so.

On the keychains it turned out just awesome – one in pale sea-blue, one in warm caramel.

Then, the way every good letter used to end. A swallow carries an envelope across the cover, and WRITE SOON stands beneath it – a journal is where the writing back begins.

On the journals, dusty lavender and pale greige, the corner stamp reads like a postmark. It looks genuinely beautiful.

And finally, we wove a nest and arched SAFE AND SOUND over it, pressed at generous size into the golden tan catchall tray. Keys and rings land there each evening; the words say what the nest does.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
