Day In, Day Out – Volume II: a leather stamping study of the ordinary day

A September study – Volume II.
Day In, Day Out – Volume II. A small collection about the objects that keep a person company through an ordinary day: five original designs, from the keys that leave the house first to the tray where everything lands at night.
First, the keys. They are the day's bookends – first thing out the door, last thing set down – so we wrote it the way it happens: FIRST OUT above the key, LAST IN below.
Looks great when stamped onto the leather – one keychain in warm tan, one in deep green.
Next, the journal made its own case. We drew a fresh sheet with one line begun and the corner turned down, and set TODAY GETS A PAGE beneath it – pressed small in the lower corner of the cover, in deep wine and in pale greige.
Then we took the little switch everyone flips before a trip and made it leather: the toggle thrown, OUT OF OFFICE beside it, running the full length of the tag. Navy and pale sea-blue take the press blind.
The black tag carries it in gold.
After that, the toiletry bag – the one bag that lets a morning happen anywhere. We raised a sun over a plain horizon and set WAKE UP ANYWHERE beneath it, stamped in the corner, honeyed russet over deep espresso.
And finally, the one we liked the most. At night the pockets empty into one place, so the tray takes the roll call – the key and the coin, the watch and the rest of the pocket's cargo, each in its own silhouette, with ALL ACCOUNTED FOR beneath. It presses at a generous size in the middle of the golden tan tray.
It looks genuinely beautiful.
