Ex Libris – a leather collection for readers
Volume I-B
A September study.
A small leather collection for readers – the kind who keep a list of everything they have read and know the exact weight of one more chapter. We call it Ex Libris.
First, the plate the collection is named for. We put an open book inside a single bold ring with EX LIBRIS arched above it, and beneath the book left one empty rule – the line where a name belongs. It looks genuinely beautiful pressed into the corner of the journals, one in deep wine and one in dark espresso.

Next, the luggage tags. We strapped a suitcase shut and slipped a book under the strap at the last second – THE BOOK COMES TOO. The tags come in warm caramel and pale sea-blue.
The black tag carries the design in gold.

The same stamp travels onto the toiletry bag, pressed blind into the corner – black over dark espresso.

Then the keychains. A page with its corner folded down and SAVE MY PLACE beneath it – a bookmark's promise, carried on the thing that opens the front door. Looks great when stamped onto the leather, in warm red and in deep green.

And finally, a catchall tray for the bedside, where the reading glasses land when the lamp finally goes off. A crescent moon over an open book, and ONE MORE CHAPTER arched above them both, pressed into golden tan.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
