ALL Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

A July study.
ALL Travel is a luxury travel agency in Minneapolis, built around Alana LaBissoniere, who has spent more than twenty years in the trade and still introduces herself simply as Alana. The numbers on her homepage are plain and earned – three hundred travelers sent on vacation and counting, with a hundred and forty industry partners standing behind them. The specialty is Europe by water: river cruises and ocean voyages arranged for empty nesters exploring at their own pace.
What pulled us toward the bench is the badge. A solid crimson circle holds ALL in heavy white capitals over Travel in a quieter title case, and along the lower arc a dotted flight path runs out to a small plane climbing toward the rim. Above it the site promises “Beyond maps, into moments”, a line we would happily letter above our own door. A circle with that much conviction wants to be a die. The dotted arc, all air and interval, made us less sure.
The mark, as found
Pressed lengthwise
Deep sangria first, so the badge meets its own crimson in relief, and a pale sea-blue borrowed from the turquoise panels of her site. Black takes the gold. We ran the tags lengthwise to give the circle its full diameter, and the dots worried us at that scale; blind on sangria they came through as a row of small clean wells, and the plane kept its nose up.
Beyond maps
The companion design begins where the badge signs off. A dotted route leaves a folded map and wanders until it finds the little plane, with BEYOND MAPS INTO MOMENTS set along the way. It is her flight path given a whole tag to stretch out on, on luggage that will go places of its own.
We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
