Three luggage-tag studies for Bad Ash Therapy
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world organizations.
An August study.
A trail map, a crossing, and a grounded place to pause
Bad Ash Therapy is Dr. Ashley Wilson’s practice for therapy, clinical supervision and consultation, and professional training. Its public offering includes workshops for university counseling centers, graduate programs, group practices, and other professional organizations, alongside supervision for clinicians developing specialized credentials. This proposal stays with those professional-learning and collaborator occasions; it makes no reference to private clients, diagnoses, or treatment outcomes.
The current site is grounded in deep moss green, white, warm tan, misty mountain layers, autumn forest, oval crops, and a repeating scalloped page edge. Its identity combines a calm lowercase wordmark with a small four-petal outline. These independent studies do not reproduce the name, the exact flower, credentials, therapy imagery, medical marks, bodies, brains, hearts, butterflies, lotus flowers, or food symbolism. The ingredients instead become a four-loop trail map around one campsite, stepping stones crossing a stream, and a sturdy park bench beneath a broad tree.
As leather luggage tags, the ideas could be considered for approved professional workshops, conference travel, supervision milestones, training-host thanks, facilitators, graduate-program partners, or referral collaborators. The first read is intentionally ordinary and outdoorsy; the second belongs to the practice’s actual visual system. Nothing promises healing or dramatizes vulnerability. The objects simply recognize movement, learning, and the value of a grounded place to continue from.
Leather and treatment
Deep moss, autumn cognac, and mist gray-taupe leather follow the practice’s landscape palette. Tonal impressions keep the trail and bench drawings quiet. A restrained antique-brass line on gray offers one professional-milestone version without turning the studies into clinical badges.
The three concepts
1. Four Loop Trailhead
Four dashed hiking loops meet around one small trailhead tent. A stranger sees a trail map; an insider sees the four-lobed construction of the practice’s small blossom translated into Blue Ridge terrain rather than copied as a flower.

2. Stepping Stone Crossing
Five oval stones cross between two simple stream lines and tufts of grass. Their even rounded rhythm comes from the site’s scalloped dividers, made into a path that can be crossed one ordinary step at a time.

3. Bench Beneath the Canopy
A sturdy slatted bench sits beside the trunk of one broad-canopied tree. The level seat and block-like feet borrow the grounded baseline of the lowercase wordmark while the scene remains a familiar place to pause.

These are independent design studies for appropriate team, partner, collaborator, adviser, vendor, volunteer, or client occasions. No affiliation, approval, or endorsement is implied. Every image is a render used to test the object before cutting a physical die.
We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual.
