Blue Venture Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
An August study.
For Blue Venture Travel.
For the warm-up, we pressed the Blue Venture Travel logo lengthwise along the luggage tags – deep navy and pale sea-blue out of their own palette, with a black tag between them. The black one carries the compass medallion in gold.

Next, their mission – "To Foster Inspired Connection." We drew it the way a navigator would: two courses plotted from different ports, meeting at one star.

On the keychains it travels in the lockup's own pair of colors, deep navy and golden tan. Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

The same meeting rides the corner of the dopp kits, navy over dark espresso.

Then, the line their site sets front and center – about losing sight of land to find the stars. The passport covers hold that exact minute, the shore already gone and one small ship under a sky full of stars.

It looks genuinely beautiful – deep navy for the night crossing, pale sea-blue for the morning one.

The golden tan tray takes the same sky at full size, for wherever keys and boarding passes land at the end of a day.

And finally, the one we liked the most. Journey and journal grew out of the same old French word for a day – a journey was a day's travel, a journal a day's record. The covers now say so, in warm tan and deep navy.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
