Christina Dorso Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.
A July study.
Christina Dorso Travel is a travel advisory built around one advisor and her promise of personalized itineraries. Her pages state the mission in her own terms: unforgettable travel experiences tailored to each client's interests and needs, offered in the conviction that travel can transform and enrich lives. The range she claims runs from South American jungles to Asian ruins, and the homepage carries a quieter phrase in its metadata, “Your next Adventure.” We place her in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, though that is our own reading of public traces and hers to correct.
What pulled us toward this study was the header. The name sits there as plain title-case type, an H3 the site template sets while its Cinzel and Libre Baskerville web fonts wait in the wings. The whole brand rides on typography. When a name does that much work alone, we start to wonder what a small piece of geometry could give it.

The mark this study proposes
We drew a compass needle crossing an open C, set above CHRISTINA DORSO TRAVEL in a portrait lockup. The C is hers by initial, and the needle points where “Your next Adventure” already faces, forward. With the visible site offering a name and little more, the mark had to grow from the name alone; whether an advisor who keeps her header this spare would even want geometry is a fair question, and one we hold open.

Pressed
Country gray and dark espresso carry the study, the pair the site's own restrained grayscale suggested, one following its light neutral field and the other its near-black heading. Black takes the gold foil.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
