Christmas Delivered × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
An August study.
For Christmas Delivered.
For the warm-up, we put the Christmas Delivered logo on the luggage tags – the wordmark is wide, so it runs lengthwise along the tag.

First, we drew the farm from above. Rows of planted firs, and one row keeps going – it bends into a road and ends at a front door with a wreath on it. MINNESOTA FRESH over the door, DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR along the bottom.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather. The black tag carries the design in gold.

Next, a fresh-cut stump. The growth rings already make a wreath, so we put a doorbell button at the center, right where the pith would be – GIVE US A RING around the top, SINCE 1971 around the bottom.

Keychains with the stump stamp look just awesome. On the black fob the rings go down in gold.

The same stamp sits at the center of the golden tan catchall tray – the dish that catches your keys and rings at the end of the day.

Then, FARM & HOME. The big ampersand comes from their own TREES & GREENS – we rebuilt it out of bound evergreen garland, so the thing the farm makes is what holds the two words together. It sits small in the corner of the toiletry bags, warm tan over chestnut.

And finally, the one we liked the most. A seedling, and the shadow it casts is a full Christmas tree, star and all – CHRISTMAS IS GROWN. A tree spends years in the field before one December at somebody's door, and a journal is where that kind of patience is kept.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
