Curated Travel Co. × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

A July study.
Curated Travel Co. is a boutique travel agency in Bismarck, North Dakota, founded and owned by Cassie Staiger, designing everything from custom itineraries to destination weddings. The founding story is one we recognize from our own workbench. Planning a vacation of her own, Cassie fell down a Pinterest rabbit hole and lost whole hours in it; the clear plan she was after kept receding. She then spent eight years learning the travel industry from the inside and streamlining how the planning gets done. The alternate lockup on her site still reads EST. 2018, the year the shingle went up, and the agency promises itineraries “curated just for you.”
The mark is what pulled us in. A fine teal line draws a partial sun settling behind three horizontal waves; two small looping strokes rise off the sun's shoulder. Beneath it the name runs in widely spaced capitals, all in the same quiet teal. We'll admit the line weight worried us. It is drawn finer than a stamping die likes to hold, and a deboss will thicken a hairline on its own authority. We decided the thickening reads as warmth.

Pale sea-blue answers the teal mark the way shallow water answers sky, and soft blush carries the coral warmth of their secondary art. On black, the gold turns that low sun toward evening.
The rabbit hole, untangled
Cassie's origin story handed us the drawing. A route begins as a proper snarl, the kind Pinterest leaves you with, then comes loose into exactly three clean loops and ends at a map pin. Three, because her waves come in threes. The pin is the part the snarl never gives you: a place you will actually stand.
We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
