Three luggage-tag studies for Dunmore Area Educational Foundation

A book becomes a bridge, backpacks find their hooks, and a sprout climbs
Dunmore Area Educational Foundation describes a community effort supporting educational opportunity for students in the Dunmore area. Its public site emphasizes grants, scholarships, events, local participation, and the practical work of building a stronger future. The current About page lists Stephanie Cloruri among its directors.
The identity is a civic navy, red, and white circular seal: an antlered deer rises above an open red book, while a strong blue foundation bar anchors the name. These independent studies do not reproduce the seal, deer, antlers, wordmark, initials, school marks, or mascot. The open book becomes the deck of a small bridge, the branching rhythm becomes a classroom coat rack, and the foundation bar becomes the base of block steps carrying a new sprout.
As leather luggage tags, the ideas could be considered for approved scholarship recipients, donors, volunteers, event committees, graduating students, educators, community partners, or campaign milestones. Each image is understandable without explanation and centers the people around the mission: a way across, a place to belong, and growth supported step by step.
Leather and treatment
Deep civic navy, clear red, and natural tan leather make a direct but non-logo-like connection to the public identity. Tonal debossing keeps the school-and-community gifts dignified; antique-brass on tan adds one commemorative option with the same artwork.
The three concepts
1. The Book Bridge
An open book spans two short supports above a calm line of water. It reads first as a footbridge, while the two sloping pages transform the red book at the heart of the current seal into a literal way forward.
2. Coat Rack Morning
Two small backpacks hang from a simple classroom coat rack whose hooks branch upward. The morning scene is instantly familiar, and the branching structure carries a gentle memory of the seal’s antler rhythm without depicting the mascot.
3. Steps and Sprout
Three sturdy blocks rise from a broad base, with a two-leaf sprout emerging at the top. The picture says supported growth plainly, while the base and ascent reinterpret the foundation bar and the organization’s future-building language.
These are independent design studies for appropriate team, partner, collaborator, adviser, vendor, volunteer, donor, educator, or client occasions. No affiliation, approval, or endorsement is implied. Every image is a render used to test the object before cutting a physical die.
