El Fenix Real Estate × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

An August study.

For El Fenix Real Estate.

First, we designed a little logo for you. It turned out amazing. El Fenix is the phoenix, and a phoenix needs somewhere to land – so we raised its wings into the pitch of a roof and set a front door in its breast. Bird and house, one mark.

We pressed it on a trio of luggage tags – golden tan and warm poppy red, the colors of the fire. The black tag carries the mark in gold foil.

Then the same mark at a generous size on the golden tan catchall tray – the bowl by the door where the keys land every evening.

And for the sake of completeness, El Fenix Real Estate as the name stands today, in plain type – pressed into a toiletry-bag stack of honeyed russet over dark espresso.

Next, the keychains, because new keys arrive bare. We drew a small house whose chimney smoke rises and turns into the phoenix mid-flight, and set HOUSEWARMING beneath it.

The black fob takes it in gold foil, beside a sibling in golden tan. Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

And finally, the journals. A door key whose bow is the phoenix itself, curled into the ring you hold, with BEGIN AGAIN underneath – every handover of keys is a first page. One journal in deep wine, one in pale gray sand: the ember and the ash.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
