Flick Financial × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world marks.
An August study.
For Flick Financial.
First, the mark as it stands: FLICK FINANCIAL, pressed blind into the corner of a toiletry kit in navy over deep espresso brown. A name trusted since 1957 can afford the quiet corner.

The companion mark, LEGACY LINE: the ruled line of an account book, drawn from 1957 and held so steady for so long that at the far end it branches and comes into leaf – a ledger growing into a family tree. Their own site puts it best, “it’s the connections that count,” and this is that sentence drawn; it runs the length of the luggage tags and settles just as calmly onto the fob, the golden tan tray and the journal corner. The black tag carries the gold.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
