Fora Travel × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.

An August study.

For Fora Travel.

For the warm-up, we pressed the FORA wordmark along the luggage tags, lengthwise, at the generous size four wide capitals deserve.

The black tag carries it in gold.

We cut it down to fob size for the keychains too – a mark this plain keeps its nerve at any scale. Here as well, the black fob takes the gold.

Next, the promise itself. Travel planned "with care, intention, and ease" – we set the three words in one quiet column, each beneath its own small sign.

It looks genuinely beautiful.

The same column presses into the corner of the toiletry bags, caramel over dark espresso – a promise kept at packing time.

Then, the route. A dashed line runs straight across the tag, and one solid line leaves it for the mountains – OFF THE BEATEN PATH.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

On the catchall tray the same detour wanders across golden tan at full size – the dish your keys land in once the trip is over.

Family travel got a tag of its own. Four suitcases stand in a row, big to small, a bear's ear peeking out of the smallest – ALL TOGETHER NOW. We cut the trio in warm browns of different depths, caramel down to a honeyed russet, related the way families are.

For the cruise clients, a liner steams ahead while its wake settles into ruled, even water behind it. SMOOTH SAILING is the whole forecast.

Trips here get planned in two languages, so one tag speaks the second: a full sun over BUEN VIAJE.

On the keychains the sun rides golden tan and pale sea-blue. A genuinely happy little fob.

The window seat is our idea of the right luxury – the detail that costs nothing and makes the flight. A cabin window with the weather stacked outside, WINDOW SEAT PLEASE beneath.

And finally, the stamp we would press into every passport if border control let us: LASTING MEMORIES around the rim and ADMITTED across the center, with the date line left blank for the next trip.

It closes the journals too, low in the corner, dark espresso beside pale warm greige – ink beside paper. The surest way a memory lasts is getting written down.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
