Fortune Brands Innovations × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
An August study.
For Fortune Brands Innovations.
For the warm-up, we put the Fortune Brands Innovations logo on the luggage tags, lengthwise along the strap – one tag navy, one golden tan. The black tag carries the logo in gold.

Next, the keychains. We drew a keyhole and set a small lit house inside it, with HAVEN underneath – what every lock in the family is really guarding, riding on the keys that open it.

The black fob takes the gold.

Then, the toiletry bags. Their purpose speaks of transforming spaces into havens, so we drew the exact moment it happens – a door standing ajar with the light coming through, and SPACES INTO HAVENS beneath. Wherever the bag lands, so does the doorway.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather.

After that, the catchall tray. A catchall gathers everything into one place, so the tray takes ONE HOME – little houses of every shape standing together under a single wide roof, the way the whole company is coming home to Deerfield. The keys land here.

And finally, the journals. THINK BIG set as large as the cover allows, LEARN FAST small and quick beneath it – the type doing exactly what the words say. A journal is where both happen.

Looks absolutely gorgeous when stamped onto the leather.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
