Three luggage-tag studies for Go Gaga Gifts

From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world organizations.

An August study.

Three plain gestures that make a gift feel finished

Go Gaga Gifts curates luxury gift boxes in Atlanta for individuals, weddings, teams, and clients. Its public concierge process is direct: share the occasion, recipient, budget, and brand needs; review the proposed box; approve a photograph; and let the team pack and ship it. The current site also offers corporate and bulk programs, reusable wooden boxes, handwritten notes, keepsake details, and fulfillment at very different scales.

The visible system pairs deep oxblood with blush paper, warm ivory, chocolate, and antique gold. A high-contrast serif wordmark, mirrored open bowls, tiny four-point sparkles, ribbon, framed insets, wax-sealed envelopes, and numbered process steps create an orderly but tactile world. These independent studies do not reproduce the business name, G letterforms, a monogram, the wordmark, a seal, or a generic logo-on-a-box. The ingredients instead become scissors curling two ribbons, three parcels moving through a packing line, and one bundle wrapped in cloth.

As leather luggage tags, the ideas could be considered as components inside approved corporate sends, incentive travel, retreats, destination weddings, client milestones, realtor closings, hospitality programs, partner thank-yous, or a small Leatherius collaboration. Each is useful as a stand-alone keepsake and quiet enough to sit beside another client’s identity without competing with it.

Leather and treatment

Deep oxblood, blush taupe, and natural tan leather echo the public warmth without rebuilding the brand palette as a logo. Tonal debossing suits intimate and corporate boxes alike; a restrained antique-gold line on tan gives one higher-ceremony option while keeping the same tooling.

The three concepts

1. Curling the Ribbon

A plain pair of scissors pulls two ribbon tails into broad mirrored curls. Those open curls begin with the paired bowl construction of the wordmark, yet the picture remains the hand-finishing action anyone recognizes at a packing table.

2. Three Boxes, One Line

Three equal boxes move from open, to closed, to tied along one work surface. Their steady intervals turn the concierge sequence into a small prosaic story: prepare, approve, finish.

3. Furoshiki Knot

Four cloth corners meet around one simple knot to wrap a square parcel. The crossing folds trace the system’s four-point sparkle, transforming a small decorative cue into the useful structure that holds the gift together.

These are independent design studies for appropriate team, partner, collaborator, adviser, vendor, volunteer, or client occasions. No affiliation, approval, or endorsement is implied. Every image is a render used to test the object before cutting a physical die.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual.
