HAWK Advisers × Leatherius Woodman – a leather stamping study
From the Practice Log – an ongoing series of stamping studies on real-world logos.
An August study.
For HAWK Advisers.
First, the warm-up. We pressed the HAWK Advisers mark on the luggage tags – navy for their deep blue-black, pale sea-blue for their teal. The black tag carries the mark in gold.

Next, the K. HAWK reads Hamilton and Wright Keystone – two agencies joined into one – so we built the arch. Both sides climb toward each other and hold only because of the wedge at the crown, with STRONGER TOGETHER set beneath it.

Looks great when stamped onto the leather – keychains in navy and pale warm greige, and the dopp kits carry it low in the corner, navy over dark espresso.

Then, “Independent by Nature”. We gave the words their altitude – one hawk, high over the ridgelines of the Blue Ridge, and all that clean air in between. On the golden tan tray the whole valley fits.

And finally, the same hawk on the journals, pressed low in the corner where a signature would go – navy and pale sea-blue. It looks genuinely beautiful.

We made this out of love. Leatherius Woodman is on a mission to create and share artifacts of beauty, craft and love – this study is one of them, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Every image is a render – how we prototype before cutting a die.
